The biggest festival of Indian cricket is about to begin in just 20 days. The IPL is all set to start from 29th March, despite the threat of Coronavirus. But a very big problem that occurs every year and just keeps getting bigger is tickets sold in black. 800 ticket is being sold for 2000-4000 to people. Here in Bangalore is very high. I myself have witnessed this problem when I went to buy the ticket some years back. A 2000 ticket was sold for 5000 and 800 tickets were sold for 4000.
Of course, police do care that this is curbed but still people find and exploit the loopholes and the fans, desperate for the matches, pay these huge amounts, unaware of the fact of how this money can be used. And I am not just talking about one stadium in Bangalore. This problem exists in all the 8 or 10 venues in the league. This kind of corruption might not look like much but is of serious concern. This has been going on for a while and it has to be stopped. Let's all try to come with solutions. If we can stop this, we can make a huge contribution to our country and for the game that we, Indians love the most. Please send me your opinions in the comment section.
