Is coronavirus becoming an unnecessary scare or is it a serious point of concern?

One of the most dreaded viruses which originated in China has become one of the most discussed issues of India. Today, there were 2 positive cases detected in Dehli. Because of this, people are becoming very vary and staying on their feet. It is being suggested that we should not be touching our noses after touching anything, always wash our hands and be away from people with cough or cold as this is the first stage of the virus.
Warnings are coming from all directions, telling us to stay very wary of people with cough and cold. Always to keep our hands clean, do not touch our nose unnecessarily and many more. Two cases have been detected here in Bangalore and 28 other cases have been detected yesterday. The threat is imminent and fast-growing. The airports are also checking all foreign nationals, examining them medically before entering the country. The virus is now beginning to scare most of the people. Even the schools and colleges are thinking of closing down for a while until the storm passes.
Is this fear real or is it just an over-promoted fear to just ignore? With the recent cases and the havoc it has been causing, it is a serious concern. So all you guys out there, do not take this lightly. Be very vary.
