Team India is currently in New Zealand for the series against the kiwis. But the consecutive losses has broken down the momentum of team India, who whitewashed the kiwis in the T20s. But ever since then, they have suffered a whitewash in the ODIs and lost the first test match in just 4 days. They have been outplayed in all 3 departments and the kiwis have turned the series around, looking to see a 5-5 score at the end of the tour.
After losing the ODIs, captain Virat Kohli told that ODIs are not that important this year with IPL and WT20 coming up. But there is no getting around the fact that India has been outplayed by the kiwis. This is a pressing issue as team India would want to end this series on a high. In the second test, Kohli and Co. have been bowled out for 242 in the first innings. India will want to steal the momentum from the home team.
